“What are your organization’s goals?”
“What can NEOSTEM do to help you achieve those goals?”
These were the two framing questions that anchored the April monthly meeting of the NEOSTEM Ecosystem.
The responses from the leaders who participated in the April 1 meeting revealed numerous points of intersection, including shared desires to:
- Promoting career pathways in STEM, including manufacturing.
- Strengthening and/or establishing partnerships with others for deeper and more meaningful impact.
- Highlight existing resources and opportunities in our community that will help people engage in STEM and develop greater understandings of how to pursue various STEM professions.
These goals align perfectly with NEOSTEM’s own organizational pillars:
- Cultivating and maintaining partnerships for resource sharing and awareness building.
- Supporting educators with STEM resources.
- Highlighting STEM career opportunities and pathways for pursuing them.
- Gathering impact and other relevant data.
NEOSTEM’s driving philosophy is to help its partners achieve their goals.

In a brief mention, NEOSTEM revealed its strategic pillars of work (see below). As NEOSTEM works to support and amplify the work of regional partners, these pillars will guide the Ecosystem’s focus.
NEOSTEM is actively encouraging regional partners to complete the partner form at the bottom of the Our Work page to compile an active list of partners to uplift.
