Spotlight Moments from 2025…So Far!
Score With STEM
In March 2025, NEOSTEM, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and regional STEM leaders collaborated to create a true celebration of learning and community. Over 1,500 students and families engaged in hands-on STEM activities alongside 65+ community partners. From robotics to health science, students explored STEM in a high-energy, interactive setting, topped off with a Cavaliers game experience.
STEM Day at Progressive Field
In partnership with the Cleveland Guardians, this landmark event brought more than 6,400 students and 85+ exhibitors together at Progressive Field, turning the ballpark into a center of exploration. With activities ranging from environmental science to sports analytics, the event showed how powerful and exciting real-world STEM learning can be.
STEM in the Rec
In April, we brought immersive STEM programming directly to Cleveland’s Michael Zone and Zelma Watson George Recreation Centers, engaging more than 500 students and families. These community-based events were designed to break down access barriers and make high-quality STEM learning feel local, relevant, and welcoming.
Looking Ahead
We’re taking a summer break from our regular monthly meetings, but we will resume our meetings on September 9th, and each meeting thereafter will continue on the first Tuesday of each month at 4:00 PM.
Thank you to every partner, educator, and champion who has fueled our momentum so far this year. We’re just getting started.
Let’s keep building together.
