Represent Northeast Ohio in this Free Online Robotics Competition
The NeoSTEM Ecosystem is calling on all partners to build teams and participate in the Aspire2050/Robotify Mars Challenge! This online event challenges teams of two to three students and one coach to participate in a virtual robotics competition programming AXEL, a virtual rover roaming the Mars landscape. Students in grades 5 through 8 will learn about robotics and computer science by leading AXEL through a series of challenges on the Red Planet. This online competition can be run on any web browser and from any device – the only requirement is basic internet access – and no prior coding experience is necessary. NeoSTEM teams will compete with other STEM Learning Ecosystems Community of Practice teams across the country, and can monitor their progress as they represent Northeast Ohio on their climb up the leaderboard! Sign-up is FREE, and teach member of the winning team receives a $1,000 scholarship!
