What began as a single-day game has evolved into a city-wide celebration of science, sports, and possibility.
This spring, NEOSTEM and Cleveland’s professional teams are teaming up to launch the Score with STEM: Spring 2026 Series — a season of unforgettable events that connect the thrill of game day with the power of hands-on STEM learning.
From the court to the ice to the community, students and families will discover how science, technology, engineering, and math power every play — from the geometry of a perfect shot to the data analytics behind every game-winning goal.
Why it Matters
By 2032, Ohio will need more than 540,000 new STEM and technical workers to sustain growth in advanced manufacturing, health sciences, and emerging technologies. Yet fewer than 50% of Ohio’s 8th-grade students currently score proficient in math or science.
Score with STEM tackles this challenge head-on — making learning real, relevant, and rooted in what students love.
Through partnerships with schools, companies, and mentors, NEOSTEM turns game days into career gateways, building the confidence and skills that will power Ohio’s future.
