Come to the NeoStem Ecosystem meeting from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, April 9 at the Tech Hive to play a role in designing the initiatives that will improve people’s lives and help secure our region’s economic future.
That was a pretty bold statement, but at the February NeoStem Ecosystem meeting, you said you were ready.
At tomorrow’s meeting, you will be working with three of the ideas that you identified as top priorities for the NeoStem Ecosystem.
Those priorities are:
- The NeoStem Ecosystem should pursue initiatives that will ensure that teachers (formal and informal) as well as parents and students know about STEM opportunities in the community.
- The NeoStem Ecosystem should pursue the idea of providing comprehensive, interactive and geo-located directories of resources, including developing an AP.
- The NeoStem Ecosystem should pursue the idea of creating more STEM mentors, with an emphasis on recruiting women and people of color?
You will work in small groups to design specific steps that we will take to pursue these three priorities.
Come ready for great conversation and come hungry! Because we learn from our past mistakes, we will have great snacks at tomorrow’s meeting!
Even if you’ve never been to a meeting before, please consider coming Monday if you want to see our community grow and prosper and our children be enabled to make meaningful contributions.
