Annalise Everette is a recent graduate of the Ohio Connections Academy, and has been with the WIR’ED program since it started. Annalise has worked to improve digital marketing for a local fragrance maker and a Northeast Ohio winery tour company, and her favorite project was to create an email marketing template for one of her businesses.
“I have benefited from this program by learning more [about my] strengths and weaknesses and learning more about time management.” Annalise said. “The most important thing I have learned from working with WIR’ED is that time management is key to getting things done.”
It’s true. Time management can be a very difficult skill to master, especially for younger people. The environment in WIR’ED allows students to learn the skill in a real-world environment, pand places them in direct control of their work schedules. WIR’ED encourages the growth of connections and contacts between all of its participants.
“I have made some connections with people I think I could help in the future,” Annalise said.
