Kimberly Rodriguez

Kimberly Rodriguez – Student

Kimberly Rodriguez is a student at Facing History New Tech High School, and has participated in two WIR’ED cohorts. Kimberly learned that small business ownership is about being adaptable.

“Being a business owner, you have to be patient especially for marketing. You have to take your time and see what works best for you,” Kimberly said. “I get to practice my communication skills. I have to send out emails a couple times a week to get feedback for my work from the business owner so I get to practice how to send proper emails as well as effectively communicate through Zoom.”

Most recently, Kimberly helped design a new informational flier for the Historical Society of Old Brooklyn.
